About the role
The School of Nursing and Health Studies at the University of Miami is seeking part‑time lecturers to deliver clinical and classroom instruction, advise students and evaluate their performance.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, deliver and manage teaching sessions and tutorials as agreed with the Dean.
- Maintain accurate teaching records and prepare teaching materials.
- Provide clinical supervision, practical instruction and technique advice to students.
- Develop and sustain links with clinical practice sites to secure quality clinical opportunities.
- Maintain professional registration and an up‑to‑date portfolio demonstrating fitness for practice.
Required profile
- Master's or Ph.D. in Nursing or a related field.
- Current professional registration and ability to keep a professional portfolio.
- Experience in clinical and classroom teaching, student advising and performance evaluation.
