Enrollment Support Specialist

About the role

The University of Miami, Division of Enrollment Management, seeks a full‑time Enrollment Support Specialist to work remotely. Reporting to the Manager of Records and Student Services, you will provide high‑quality customer service to prospective and current applicants and support the management of student enrollment records.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary phone and email contact for admission and financial aid inquiries, handling high‑volume communication.
• Manage incoming undergraduate documents, verify accuracy, update checklists, and ensure secure, confidential record keeping.
• Maintain data integrity in Slate, PeopleSoft/CaneLink, PowerFAIDS, College Board, and OnBase, including resolving mismatched records and test‑score discrepancies.
• Support workflow across enrollment processes such as transcript review, document collection, and I‑20 processing.

Required profile

• High school diploma (post‑secondary education preferred).
• At least one year of relevant experience in records management or customer service, preferably in higher education.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to manage multiple tasks, and excellent oral and written communication skills.

Required skills

• Experience with Slate enrollment system.
• Familiarity with PeopleSoft/CaneLink.
• Knowledge of PowerFAIDS, College Board, and OnBase document management platforms.
