Enrollment Operations Specialist

About the role

The University of Miami’s Division of Enrollment Management seeks a full‑time Enrollment Operations Specialist to work remotely. Reporting to the Director, you will support special populations, manage I‑20 processing, and provide concierge service to the Athletics department while ensuring accurate student record maintenance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the I‑20 workflow, preparing files for admission, reviewing student data for accuracy, and assisting students with required documentation.
• Liaise with the Athletics Department to verify student‑athlete records and complete applications.
• Process undergraduate student records from initial contact through enrollment and support admissions and operations teams with record change requests.
• Generate queries, analyze results, and troubleshoot data discrepancies across Slate CRM, PeopleSoft/CaneLink, PowerFAIDS, College Board, and OnBase.
• Review and satisfy items in the Need Information queue, assist with high‑school transcript reviews, and address student and parent inquiries.

Required profile

• High school diploma required; post‑secondary education preferred.
• At least one year of experience managing records, preferably in higher education.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to manage multiple projects, and excellent oral and written communication skills.

Required skills

• Experience with Slate CRM.
• Proficiency in PeopleSoft/CaneLink.
• Knowledge of PowerFAIDS.
• Familiarity with College Board systems.
• Use of OnBase document management.
