Part-Time RN – Cath Lab PreOp/PACU (3 days/week)

About the role

The PreOp/PACU Registered Nurse provides direct patient care in the Cath Lab environment, ensuring safety and quality throughout the surgical continuum. This part‑time position works three days per week with varying shift times.

Key responsibilities

• Follow hospital policies on infection prevention, safe patient handling, and critical lab notifications to maintain a safe environment.
• Administer medications, perform nursing interventions, and deliver patient and family education.
• Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessments, document care accurately, and communicate pertinent information to physicians and the care team.
• Delegate tasks appropriately, support teamwork, and adapt to changes in the clinical setting.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred; graduate from an accredited nursing program required.
• Current RN license in Missouri or a Compact State.
• One year of healthcare experience preferred.

Required skills

• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
