About the role

Phelps Health Hospital is seeking a part‑time Registered Nurse to provide direct pediatric care on P‑shifts. The RN will deliver safe, high‑quality nursing services while supporting patients, families, and the clinical team.

Key responsibilities

Provide direct patient care, administer medications, and perform nursing interventions in accordance with hospital policies.
Maintain central lines, prevent surgical site infections, and follow infection‑prevention protocols.
Perform initial and ongoing patient assessments, document care activities, and communicate findings to physicians and team members.

Required profile

Graduate of an accredited nursing program with a current RN license in Missouri (or Compact licensure).
One year of nursing experience preferred; graduate nurses must obtain licensure within 90 days of graduation.
Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications.
