Part-Time Hospitality Desk Associate

About the role

Midtown is looking for a part-time Hospitality Desk Associate in Deerfield, the first point of contact for every interaction with its members and guests. The associate sets the tone of each visit through warm greetings, accurate and quick resolution of questions or issues, and memorable moments. Availability is required for a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and some holidays.

Key responsibilities

• Greet everyone entering the club warmly and seek to understand how to make each person's experience special
• Assist members with program registration, payment processing and scheduling
• Handle check-ins, answer questions and resolve issues, identifying friction points and helping find solutions
• Take part in service recovery and maintain cleanliness of front desk areas
• Contact housekeeping and maintenance when problems are reported
• Answer queries about club services and facilities and follow procedures for consistent service delivery
• Complete transactions for paid services or goods and other assigned tasks, such as calling members with birthday greetings

Required profile

• Availability to work 12-15 hours per week on a flexible schedule
• Strong customer service skills and enjoyment of serving others
• Working knowledge of customer service standards
• Ability to stay calm and work quickly under pressure, with a great personality and keen memory
• Quick calculations when handling money, teamwork, organization and excellent communication
