Hospitality Desk Associate

About the role

Midtown is looking for a Hospitality Associate in Deerfield, the first point of contact for every interaction with its members and guests. The associate sets the tone of each visit through warm greetings, accurate and quick resolution of questions or issues, and memorable moments. The role suits people who love inspiring a sense of community, helping others and working in a collaborative team.

Key responsibilities

• Greet everyone entering the club warmly and seek to understand how to make each person's experience special
• Assist members with program registration, payment processing and scheduling
• Handle check-ins, answer questions and resolve issues; identify friction points and help find solutions
• Take part in service recovery and maintain cleanliness of front desk areas
• Contact housekeeping and maintenance when problems are reported
• Answer queries about club services and facilities and follow procedures for consistent service delivery
• Complete transactions for paid services or goods and other assigned tasks, such as calling members with birthday greetings

Required profile

• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends and some holidays
• Strong customer service skills and ability to work quickly and calmly under pressure
• Excellent communication skills, great personality and keen memory
• Ability to calculate quickly when handling money and to work in a collaborative team
• Willingness to receive coaching and implement recommendations

What we offer
