About the role
R+L Carriers is seeking a Part-Time Forklift Operator to work at its Fontana, CA service center. The role involves safely moving various types of freight in and out of enclosed trailers on a roofed dock.
Key responsibilities
- Operate a forklift to load and unload freight from trailers up to 53’ long.
- Handle freight on a non‑climate‑controlled dock while maintaining safety standards.
Required profile
- Ability to bend, lift, and stoop without difficulty.
- Read manifests and interact with computer displays.
- Dependable and able to work in a fast‑paced environment.
Required skills
- Forklift operation experience.
- Experience with LTL (Less‑Than‑Truckload) shipments.
