About the role
R+L Carriers is seeking Class A Linehaul Drivers for its Fontana, CA service center. Drivers will pull van trailers up to 53’ or double trailers between service centers and turn‑point locations, returning home each day.
Key responsibilities
- Operate van or double trailers (up to 53’) on linehaul routes.
- Maintain a safe driving record and comply with DOT regulations.
- Complete pre‑employment DOT physical, drug screen, and road test.
Required profile
- Valid CDL Class A with at least 1 year of combined verifiable Class A experience within the past 3 years.
- Good driving record (no serious violations, ≤3 moving violations in 3 years).
- Age 23 (or 21 with FMCSA‑approved military transition).
- Ability to pass DOT physical, drug screen, and road test.
Required skills
- CDL Class A operation.
- Safe equipment handling and vehicle operation.
- Physical ability to bend, lift, and stoop without difficulty.
