About the role
R+L Carriers is seeking a part‑time Casual Forklift Operator to work at its Fontana, CA service center on weekends. The role involves safely moving freight in and out of enclosed trailers on a non‑climate‑controlled dock.
Key responsibilities
- Operate a forklift to load and unload freight from trailers up to 53’ long.
- Handle freight safely on a roofed dock and follow manifest instructions.
Required profile
- Ability to bend, lift, and stoop without difficulty.
- Dependable and able to work in a fast‑paced environment.
Required skills
- Forklift operation experience.
- Ability to read manifests and interact with computer displays.
