Outside Sales Producer

About the role

Ironside Insurance Group is looking for a dynamic, results‑oriented Outside Sales Producer to join its rapidly growing agency. Based in Massachusetts, you will work primarily from our downtown Boston office as needed while driving new business development through referrals and professional networks.

Key responsibilities

• Generate leads, prospects, and referrals via multiple channels and conduct outbound outreach.
• Quote new business across all carriers, cross‑sell additional products, and close sales.
• Advise and educate prospects/clients on coverage options, ensuring accurate risk assessment and premium calculation.
• Enter information precisely to support underwriting and binding of appropriate risks.

Required profile

• Based in Massachusetts with ability to work from the Boston office when required.
• Solid network of referral sources and at least 2 years of direct sales experience.
• Associate’s degree in a business‑related field or equivalent experience.
• Prior insurance experience with basic knowledge of industry principles and products.
• Ability to obtain and maintain required P&C insurance licenses.
• Strong communication, interpersonal skills and ability to work independently or within a team.

Required skills

• Familiarity with Agency Management Systems.
• Working knowledge of the MA Registry of Motor Vehicles System.
