Executive Director, Head of Sales – Neurology

About the role

The Head of Sales, Neurology (Executive Director) will build and lead a national sales team for the upcoming sevasemten launch in Becker muscular dystrophy and drive growth across Servier’s neurology portfolio. Reporting to the VP, Commercial Neuro, this position sits on the US Commercial Leadership Team and works closely with cross‑functional partners.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and develop the sales organization, recruiting and retaining top talent while ensuring ethical, compliant practices.
• Define and execute the sales vision for the sevasemten launch and broader neurology portfolio, including referral and patient‑finding strategies.
• Optimize sales force deployment to maximize ROI, monitor performance metrics, and provide regular updates to senior leadership.
• Design and implement training programs to elevate field skills, territory management, and product knowledge.
• Collaborate with marketing, patient services, market access, and key opinion leaders to ensure consistent launch execution and forecast accuracy.

Required profile

• BS/BA degree or equivalent experience.
• 15+ years of pharmaceutical/biotech commercial experience, including at least 7 years in sales management leadership.
• Significant experience in rare diseases or neuromuscular therapeutics and first‑to‑market product launches.
• Proven ability to lead in a matrix environment and influence internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong organizational, time‑management, and project‑delivery capabilities.
