OluKai Retail Lead - West Palm Beach

About the role

The OluKai Retail Lead, or Huaka'i, welcomes customers into the store and delivers a remarkable brand experience as the first point of contact for guests. The position is full time, 32 hours or more per week, and suits outgoing, culturally minded people who are genuine, service-oriented and passionate about premium products.

Key responsibilities

• Hit goals and plans set by the company and management
• Uphold and enforce company policies, procedures and corporate directives
• Open and close the store to standard, manage keys and security measures
• Act as Manager on Duty when needed and coach retail associates
• Welcome customers, build rapport and share the brand's partnerships and product design stories
• Advocate for quality and authenticity, stay current on fashion trends and communicate product selections
• Solve customer problems independently while maintaining a spirit of Aloha, even under pressure
• Maintain visual standards and store cleanliness
• Help with back-of-house duties such as receiving, processing product and restocking
• Use POS best practices for a seamless customer experience and act as a brand ambassador, taking part in local events and giveback programs

Required profile

• At least 1 year of retail or customer service experience, preferably in a leadership or key holder role
• Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
• Independent work ethic, good time management and organization
• Positive attitude, high integrity and ability to lift or move objects up to 30 lbs
