OluKai Retail Associate - West Palm Beach

About the role

As the OluKai Retail Associate, or Huaka'i (to lead), you welcome customers into the store and deliver a memorable brand experience. The role suits outgoing, service-oriented people who enjoy premium products and the evolving retail industry. It is offered as part-time (under 29 hours per week) or full-time (over 32 hours per week).

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests and act as the first point of contact, building rapport and telling the story of the brand's partnerships and product design.
• Know the product lines, stay current on fashion trends and recommend items that meet customer needs.
• Solve customer problems independently while keeping a friendly, Aloha spirit, even under pressure.
• Maintain visual standards and store cleanliness.
• Help with back-of-house tasks such as receiving, processing product and restocking.
• Use POS systems correctly and take part in local events and community programs.

Required profile

• At least 6 months of retail, hospitality or customer service experience preferred but not required.
• Available for at least three shifts a week (4-8 hours each) and for holidays and weekends as needed.
• Aged 17 or older; GED or high school diploma preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication, time management and organizational skills, positive attitude and integrity.
• Able to lift and move objects up to 30 lbs.
