Occupational Therapist – Home Health in Senior Living Communities

About the role

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to provide home health visits for adult and geriatric patients in senior living communities across Catawba and Lincoln counties, NC. You will join a multidisciplinary team delivering rehabilitative care that enables clients to remain safely at home.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct home visits in designated territories and perform comprehensive functional evaluations.
• Develop and adjust individualized intervention plans, including equipment recommendations and environmental adaptations.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapeutic activities and safety measures.
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes using a tablet‑based electronic medical record system.

Required profile

• Current North Carolina Occupational Therapist license.
• At least one year of recent occupational therapy experience.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and solve problems.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
• Solid computer skills, including use of tablet devices for documentation.
