Patient Service Representative

About the role

Nevid Dental is looking for a Patient Service Representative in Pawling, New York, to join its clinical team. The role provides a high level of patient care and satisfaction in a team-based, warm and welcoming environment focused on patient comfort and advanced treatments for optimal oral health.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients on arrival and dismissal, and respond to their questions and concerns according to policy
• Answer telephones and register patients on the sign-in sheet
• Schedule, confirm and follow up on appointments, including no-shows and cancellations
• Maintain the appointment book and keep the waiting area clean and friendly
• Post charges and payments to patient accounts and check voicemail daily

Required profile

• Experience working in a dental, medical or other health-care office is required
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Knowledge of insurance plans (HMO/PPO) is a plus
