Nurse Manager (RN) – IDD Habilitation Services

About the role

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to lead its Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) Habilitation Services team in Hickory, NC. The Clinical Nurse Manager will provide clinical guidance, mentor staff, and ensure person‑centered care for clients throughout the community.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, inspire, and motivate a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional nursing‑supported care.
• Develop, implement, and oversee individualized care plans using RN clinical expertise.
• Provide clinical oversight and guidance for Habilitation Services and supervise Habilitation Technicians.
• Facilitate new‑hire orientation, ongoing training, and competency evaluations.
• Collaborate with clients, families, case managers, and interdisciplinary teams to achieve care goals.
• Conduct regular RN client visits to assess progress and adjust care as needed.
• Monitor client outcomes, maintain communication with healthcare partners, and ensure compliance with BAYADA policies and state regulations.

Required profile

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Minimum 2 years RN experience and 4 years working with the IDD population.
• Credentialed as a Qualified Professional (QP).
• Leadership or supervisory experience in nursing preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment abilities and excellent communication skills.
• Passion for improving the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities.
