About the role

Join Cleveland Clinic Fairview Hospital as an Occupational Therapist on a PRN basis, providing acute care services during weekend days. You will help patients regain independence and improve their functional abilities.

Key responsibilities

  • Assess patients' ability to perform independent living skills safely.
  • Design and implement individualized plans of care, including appropriate modalities.
  • Document subjective and objective findings and monitor progress.
  • Modify treatment plans as needed and seek consultation.
  • Educate patients and families about deficits and adaptive equipment.
  • Oversee certified occupational therapy assistants and therapy technicians.

Required profile

  • Bachelor's degree from an AOTA‑accredited Occupational Therapy program.
  • Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision in a stressful environment.
  • Physical ability to support patients during therapy.
