About the role

Join Cleveland Clinic Union Hospital in Dover, Ohio, and work on a 6100-bed Medical/Surgical unit caring for patients with chronic illnesses and post‑operative needs. As a New Grad RN Resident you will provide direct patient care while participating in a structured residency curriculum.

Key responsibilities

Participate in a residency core curriculum tailored to individual learning needs.
Provide direct nursing care alongside a success coach.
Establish and revise patient care priorities based on acuity, preference and resources.
Respond to data indicating patient risk and take corrective action.
Seek supervision or assistance when unable to perform safely.
Document care accurately in patients’ medical records.

Required profile

Graduate from an accredited nursing program (Diploma, ADN or BSN).
Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
New graduate RN or less than one year of RN experience.

Required skills

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
