New Grad RN Resident - Med/Surg and Cardiac Care

About the role

Join Cleveland Clinic Fairview Hospital as a New Grad RN Resident on the Progressive Coronary Care Unit (PK II). You will work nights providing direct nursing care to cardiac patients while participating in a one‑year accredited Nurse Residency program.

Key responsibilities

• Assist fellow caregivers in delivering exceptional care and interact directly with patients, families, and visitors.
• Provide direct nursing care alongside a success coach, establish care priorities, and document patient records.
• Respond to clinical data indicating patient risk and initiate corrective actions.
• Seek supervision or consultation when needed to ensure safe independent practice.

Required profile

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN).
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• New graduate or less than one year of acute direct patient care experience.

Required skills

• Telemetry monitoring.
• Dysrhythmia management.
