MRI Technologist I

About the role

The MRI Technologist I will perform routine MRI examinations for patients of all ages and conditions at the Green Health and Wellness Center, ensuring comfort, safety, and clear communication throughout the process.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and screen patients prior to MRI procedures, including reviewing questionnaires and safety forms.
• Perform MRI scans according to protocol, conduct daily quality assurance, and acquire, archive, transmit, and print images via PACS.
• Administer contrast agents, perform venipunctures, and ensure patient comfort during and after exams.
• Report equipment malfunctions promptly and maintain high equipment uptime.
• Process billing through RIS and assist with patient scheduling.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Current ARRT registration (R.T.(R), R.T.(S), R.T.(T), R.T.(N) or CNMT) in good standing.
• Certification in MRI (R.T.(MR)) to be obtained within one year of hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Knowledge of cross‑sectional anatomy and related pathology.
