- Develop lab-testing methods, analyze results for tire modeling and data packages, and explain test assumptions and limitations
- Support IMSA/WEC events, joint tests and simulator sessions, with about 35% travel and frequent weekend work
Required profile
- B.S. or M.S. in Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Automotive or Motorsports Engineering, or a closely related field
- Strong understanding of physics and mathematics related to vehicle dynamics
- Experience analyzing on-track performance with vehicle dynamics principles and statistical methods
- Strong teamwork, leadership and organizational skills in fast-paced, trackside environments
- Ability to translate complex technical information into clear recommendations for internal teams and external partners
Required skills
- Data analysis, including cleaning, transformation, visualization and interpretation
- Working knowledge of Python (NumPy, pandas, matplotlib, plotly)
- Software-based tool development
- Desired: tire modeling tools (MF-Tyre, MFSwift, TameTire, FTire), driver-in-the-loop simulators, MATLAB, WinTAX, HH Timing, Pi Toolbox, Atlas, MoTeC, French language
The position is not available for immigration sponsorship. Career growth includes personalized development plans, mentorship and cross-functional opportunities.
