Melin Retail Sales Expert - Lahaina

About the role

Archipelago Cosmetics is hiring a full-time Retail Sales Expert for its melin store in Lahaina. The Sales Expert provides a high level of attention to every guest, builds lasting relationships with customers and the brand, and handles opening and closing the store, the drawer and daily revenue drops. The position suits someone with scheduling flexibility, a customer-service orientation and an entrepreneurial mindset.

Key responsibilities

• Engage new customers, personalize their experience and answer product questions with deep product knowledge
• Restock, run back-of-house operations, supply needs and daily store maintenance, and keep the floor clean and visually aligned with store concepts
• Open and close the store, reconcile tills, process returns, exchanges, gift cards and discounts with manager approval, and support Cashwrap and POS procedures
• Train staff, execute strategies for a premium guest experience, and solve customer issues independently
• Communicate customer feedback to leadership and promote the Point-of-Sale process

Required profile

• At least one year of sales and merchandising experience, preferably in retail goods, with opening and closing duties
• Strong communication, time management and organizational skills
• Willingness to work weekends, evenings and holidays as needed
• Able to lift and move objects up to 15 pounds and climb ladders or stairs
• Preferred: knowledge of action sports, golf, running and training, and a passion for the outdoors
