Medical Technologist / MLT / Lab Technician (PRN)

About the role

The Cleveland Clinic Health System seeks a PRN Medical Technologist/MLT/Lab Technician to perform and interpret laboratory tests of all complexity levels at the Green Health and Wellness Center in Uniontown. This position supports patient care by ensuring accurate test results and maintaining high quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform specimen handling, processing, test analyses, and result reporting following laboratory procedures.
• Maintain regulatory knowledge, quality control documentation, instrument calibrations, and equipment maintenance.
• Identify and resolve quality control or performance issues, notifying supervisors as needed.
• Participate in proficiency testing and comply with CLIA regulations.
• Provide education and training to students, residents, or staff on laboratory techniques and safety.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in chemical, biological, clinical, or medical laboratory science/technology from an accredited institution.
• Meets CLIA high‑complexity testing qualifications (grandfathering clause).
• Certification eligible or certified as Medical Technologist (MT, MLT, MLS) by ASCP or AMT preferred.
