About the role

The Medical Laboratory Scientist (PRN) provides essential laboratory services, preparing specimens, performing tests, and ensuring accurate results for diagnosis and treatment. This position supports a compassionate, inclusive team dedicated to exceptional patient care.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and prepare specimens according to standard protocols.
• Perform routine and specialized laboratory testing, quality control, and equipment calibration.
• Analyze and record test results, troubleshoot instruments, and document corrective actions.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and safety standards.
• Perform phlebotomy procedures as needed and protect patient confidentiality.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in medical technology, clinical laboratory science, or related scientific field.
• Current Clinical Lab Scientist Generalist license (or obtain within 180 days of hire).
• ASCP, AMT, or AAB generalist certification required within 90 days of hire.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
