Nurse Practitioner – Military Health Readiness

About the role

DOCS Health is seeking experienced Nurse Practitioners to join as independent contractors, providing health readiness services to U.S. reserve and guard members in Guam. Work is primarily on weekends with occasional weekday assignments under the Reserve Health Readiness Program.

Key responsibilities

• Support physical health assessments of military personnel, reviewing health history, medical records, and questionnaires.
• Interview service members to identify current and prior medical concerns, including behavioral health issues.
• Document interview results and readiness classifications using the proprietary system.
• Travel to various locations, including remote military installations, and work extended hours as needed.

Required profile

• Active Nurse Practitioner license in the state (Guam) and CPR/BLS certification.
• Experience in primary care, urgent care, or occupational health (preferred).
• Familiarity with mobile medical services and military systems, protocols, and terminology (preferred).
• Ability to adapt to fast‑paced environments, handle large volumes of service members, and work weekends.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills and basic computer proficiency.
