About the role

The Medical Lab Scientist/Technician works nightshift at SMH, receiving and preparing specimens, performing laboratory tests, and providing critical data for diagnosis and treatment.

Key responsibilities

Receive, process, and prepare specimens according to standard protocols.
Perform routine and specialized laboratory tests, quality control, and instrument maintenance.
Calibrate, monitor, and troubleshoot analytical equipment.
Conduct phlebotomy procedures as needed and maintain patient confidentiality.

Required profile

Bachelor's degree in medical technology, clinical laboratory science, or related scientific field.
Current state license (if applicable) and ASCP, AMT, or AAB certification.
Effective verbal and written communication, analytical problem‑solving, and good judgment.
