Medical Assistant – Endocrinology

About the role

The Cleveland Clinic Health System seeks a Medical Assistant to support the Endocrinology department at the Green Health and Wellness Center. The role works Monday‑Friday, 8:00 am‑4:30 pm, primarily onsite with occasional travel to Stow and Akron physicians.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with screenings and treatments, gather and update health maintenance information, medication changes, and allergy data.
• Collect specimens, perform basic tests, and document patient care.
• Monitor patient condition changes and communicate them to the care team.
• Maintain equipment, medical supplies, and examination areas.
• Perform administrative duties such as filing, reception, scheduling, data entry, and patient registration.

Required profile

• Graduate of an approved medical assisting program or military training as a Hospital Corpsman, Combat Medic, or Medical Service Technician.
• Completion of a clinical externship or extensive clinical experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (must be obtained during new‑hire period if not already held).

Required skills

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Medical Assisting certification (preferred).
