Medical Affairs Postdoctoral Research Fellow

About the role

The two‑year Global Medical Affairs PharmD fellowship is offered in partnership with Northeastern University and is based remotely. Fellows will work closely with Abbott Diabetes Care to support FreeStyle Libre products and engage with the diabetes scientific community.

Key responsibilities

• Provide unbiased, scientifically balanced information on Abbott products to healthcare providers and support medical affairs activities.
• Develop relationships with Key Opinion Leaders, present scientific education, and assist with clinical studies and product development teams.
• Participate in cross‑functional initiatives, literature searching, and medical content review for professional materials.

Required profile

• Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an ACPE‑accredited institution.
• Eligible for pharmacist licensure in Massachusetts.
• Excellent oral and written communication, strong time‑management and leadership abilities.
• Ability to work independently on industry and university projects.

Required skills

• Literature searching and critical review of clinical data.
• Medical information operations, including process improvement and audit readiness.
• Collaboration with cross‑functional groups and presentation of scientific materials to KOLs.
