Marketing Service Representative

About the role

HCSC is hiring a Marketing Service Representative in a flexible hybrid role (3 days in the office, 2 days remote). The position supports sales representatives or account management personnel in prospecting, acquiring or renewing business. Duties vary by market and role type.

Key responsibilities

• Build relationships with customer representatives and brokers
• Research and coordinate the resolution of customer issues
• Prepare and analyze reports
• Participate in or lead enrollment meetings
• Gather information for RFPs
• Prepare or implement new accounts or renewals
• Travel to customer sites

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree and 1 year of experience in health insurance/health care in a service, sales or marketing role involving initiative and decision-making, OR
• 5 years of experience in health care management in a marketing service representative role, OR
• 5 years of experience in sales/marketing or health care management/claims/provider service involving processing or coordination of services for health care clients
• State insurance license(s) or ability to obtain them within the required time frame per state regulations
• Organizational and decision-making skills, and written and verbal communication skills including telephone skills
• Ability to interact professionally with internal and external contacts

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Access
• Preferred: health insurance/health care experience

What we offer

• Base pay range of $47,500 to $86,000, varying with skills, experience and location
