About the role
The D’Amore‑McKim School of Business at Northeastern University seeks a distinguished scholar for a tenured faculty position as the Mark and Gail Pyke Professor of Accounting, expected to start in Fall 2026.
Key responsibilities
- Develop high‑impact research initiatives in auditing, corporate governance, AI, large language models, and ESG reporting.
- Promote the visibility and prestige of the Accounting faculty through research leadership and engagement with business executives and policymakers.
- Teach graduate and/or undergraduate accounting courses and mentor junior colleagues.
Required profile
- Doctorate in Accounting or a related field by the appointment start date.
- International reputation for excellence in research, teaching, and service, with a strong record of practitioner impact.
- Demonstrated ability to work with global student populations and to build programs for institutions.
Required skills
- Outstanding scholarly productivity and a clear plan for continued research success.
- Effective mentorship and collegial collaboration with faculty and students.
