About the role
Matrix Design Group is seeking a Manufacturing Intern for the 2027 summer term. The intern will work on‑site at the Newburgh, IN headquarters, supporting the manufacturing team across a range of operational tasks and gaining hands‑on industry experience.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct productivity evaluations and time studies to identify improvement opportunities.
- Assist with plant safety initiatives and process documentation.
- Perform inventory counts, materials inspection, and quality‑control checks.
- Provide occasional support to the warehouse as needed.
Required profile
- Enrolled in a degree or diploma program, preferably in Engineering.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate within a team.
- Willingness to work in both office and warehouse environments, adhering to safety protocols.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
