Manager, Procurement Product Activation

About the role

Ramp is building the smart infrastructure for finance teams and needs a Manager of Procurement Activation to lead a team that implements its fast intake‑to‑pay platform for mid‑market customers. You will own the end‑to‑end activation process, work directly with CFOs and controllers, and become the primary procurement authority across Customer Success, Sales, Account Management, and Product.

Key responsibilities

• Hire, onboard, and develop Procurement Activation Specialists; run structured 1:1s and coaching to move them from reactive to proactive.
• Build the Procurement Activation playbook from discovery through go‑live, codify best practices, and turn implementation patterns into product feedback.
• Partner with Sales, AM, and CSM leadership to define hand‑off, scoping, and resourcing standards and own those standards organization‑wide.
• Identify systemic blockers across implementations, drive cross‑functional resolution, and represent procurement activation in GTM planning and roadmap discussions.

Required profile

• Deep procurement knowledge (procure‑to‑pay workflows, approval structures, ERP integrations, vendor management) trusted by finance leaders.
• Proven people‑development experience with concrete examples of improving IC skills and confidence.
• Ability to influence cross‑functional partners without direct authority and communicate with stakeholders from AEs to VPs.
• Track record of creating lasting playbooks, training programs, or escalation frameworks that outlive your direct involvement.

Required skills

• Experience with ERP integrations such as NetSuite or QuickBooks.
• Familiarity with AP automation and invoice‑to‑payment workflows.
