Manager, International Trade Compliance, Americas

About the role

The Manager, International Trade Compliance, Americas will lead trade compliance for Oceaneering’s Americas operations, supporting global initiatives and ensuring risk‑based processes align with corporate standards.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and continuously improve trade compliance policies, procedures, internal controls, training, monitoring and reporting for the Americas.
• Serve as subject‑matter expert on customs, export controls, sanctions, classification, licensing, end‑use reviews and technology control plans.
• Partner with supply chain, logistics, finance, legal, engineering and other functions to embed compliance into business processes and growth projects.
• Monitor regulatory changes, support audits, investigations, government inquiries and corrective actions.
• Develop and deliver training, communications, tools and metrics to build compliance capability.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum 8 years of experience developing and managing international trade compliance programs.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. and international trade regulations (EAR, ITAR, OFAC sanctions, customs/import requirements).
• Experience assessing complex compliance issues and advising business leaders.
• U.S. person or legally authorized to access ITAR‑controlled data.
