Manager, Connected Commerce Content Strategy & Operations

About the role

Alcon is seeking a Manager to lead Connected Commerce Content Strategy & Operations for its US Vision Care Marketing OTC team. The role will advance Alcon OTC’s Connected Commerce agenda by building and scaling content capabilities across key omnichannel retailers, retail media networks, and emerging commerce platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain content frameworks, standards, and best practices that support brand objectives, retailer requirements, and shopper needs across commerce channels.
• Partner with Brand Marketing, agencies, Sales, Regulatory, Legal and external partners to ensure content is optimized, compliant, syndicated and activated effectively.
• Build and optimize content workflows, approval processes and governance to enable efficient creation, review, deployment and maintenance of commerce content.
• Lead content experimentation, testing, learning and scaling initiatives, translating results into playbooks and best‑practice standards.
• Manage Digital Asset Management (DAM) ecosystem, establishing standards for asset organization, metadata, taxonomy and lifecycle management.

Required profile

• Strategic thinker with operational rigor and strong cross‑functional leadership experience.
• Proven ability to work in a matrixed organization and influence stakeholders across Brand Marketing, Retail Media, Sales and Creative teams.
• Experience driving continuous improvement through data‑driven insights and test‑and‑learn approaches.

Required skills

• Experience with product content ecosystems including DAM, PIM, syndication platforms, retailer portals and retail media environments.
• Familiarity with AI‑powered content solutions, content automation platforms and emerging commerce technologies.
• Ability to develop scalable content frameworks, standards and governance processes.
