Mammography Technologist

About the role

The Mammography Technologist joins Cleveland Clinic Medina Hospital to provide high‑quality, patient‑centered imaging services. This PRN position works primarily between 6:30 am and 5:00 pm, requiring 36 hours every six weeks, with the option to pick up additional shifts at other locations.

Key responsibilities

• Perform high‑quality mammography imaging while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and proper positioning.
• Educate and support patients throughout the exam to promote a positive experience.
• Review images for quality, complete documentation, archive images, and process exams.
• Maintain compliance with safety, regulatory, and quality‑assurance standards, including equipment checks and reporting malfunctions.
• Collaborate with imaging teams and mentor new caregivers and students.

Required profile

• Graduate of an AMA‑approved Radiologic Technology program.
• Registered Technologist credentialed by ARRT (R.T.(R)) in good standing.
• Certification in Mammography (R.T.(M) ARRT) and current state licensure.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Completion of at least 40 hours of mammography training.
