Maintenance Technician - Tidewood

About the role

The Maintenance Technician ensures the physical aspects of the property, including buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas, meet Greystar's standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident requests and perform preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues and repairing according to policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, and final quality checks.
• Maintain inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment, tracking usage and notifying supervisors of re‑order needs.
• Assist with grounds and common‑area upkeep such as trash removal, pressure‑washing, general cleaning, and painting.
• Support cost‑control by repairing rather than replacing parts when feasible.

Required profile

• Minimum one year of maintenance experience.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including on‑call evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, climb ladders, lift up to 25 lb independently (50 lb with assistance) and work in all weather conditions.
• Valid driver’s license for operating a golf cart where applicable.

Required skills

• EPA Type I, Type II or Universal certification for refrigerant recycling.
• All state and local certifications required for service technicians.
