Maintenance Technician II – $2,000 Sign‑on Bonus

About the role

Join Main Street Renewal’s growing team as a Maintenance Technician II, responsible for responding to and repairing property issues for residents across the St Louis market. This full‑time position offers a $2,000 sign‑on bonus and a supportive environment for career growth.

Key responsibilities

• Review daily work orders, gather repair information, and ensure necessary supplies are available.
• Complete property maintenance tasks—including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and external repairs—within service level agreement timeframes.
• Close work orders promptly, document work with before/after photos, and communicate status to the Austin Support Center and Maintenance Lead.
• Track supplies and tools, perform re‑keying, and conduct pre‑move‑in audits and repairs.

Required profile

• HS Diploma or GED; 2–3 years of maintenance experience, at least 1 year in single‑family or multi‑family property management.
• Valid driver’s license, age 21+, and ability to lift up to 50 lb and work on ladders up to 30 ft.
• Service‑oriented mindset with strong communication and organizational skills.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of HVAC systems.
• Basic plumbing skills.
• Basic electrical troubleshooting.
• Carpentry and general household repairs.
