Maintenance Technician I – Residential Property

About the role

Pillar Properties is seeking a Maintenance Technician I to support the upkeep of interior and exterior spaces at The Lyric residential community. The role focuses on preventative maintenance, quick response to resident needs, and ensuring property systems operate smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on apartments and common areas.
• Complete written work orders promptly.
• Assist with plumbing tasks such as sinks, toilets, and bathtubs.
• Perform minor electrical work in units and common areas, including light switches, outlets, and garbage disposals.
• Paint apartments and most common areas.
• Respond to community emergencies and travel between local properties as needed.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule with reliable attendance.
• Own hand tools and basic painting abilities.
• Strong customer service orientation and integrity.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, lift up to 90 lb, and perform other manual tasks.

Required skills

• Basic plumbing knowledge.
• Basic electrical troubleshooting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365.
• Hand tool usage.
