Maintenance Technician I

About the role

Pillar Properties is seeking a Maintenance Technician I to support the upkeep of interior and exterior building areas across its portfolio. The role focuses on preventative maintenance, quick response to resident requests, and ensuring property standards are met.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on apartments and common areas.
• Complete written work orders promptly.
• Assist with plumbing tasks such as sinks, toilets, and bathtubs.
• Handle minor electrical work in units and common spaces, including light switches and outlets.
• Paint apartments and most common areas.
• Respond to community emergencies as needed and travel between local properties.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule with reliable attendance.
• Own hand tools and basic painting abilities.
• Strong customer service orientation and integrity.
