Leasing Professional – Active Adult Community

About the role

The Sales Consultant (Leasing Professional) drives marketing, leasing, and renewal activities for an Active Adult community, ensuring high occupancy, revenue, and resident satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct tours, qualify prospects, process applications, and manage lease sign‑ups to meet occupancy and revenue goals.
• Develop and execute short‑ and long‑term marketing plans, including events, referral programs, and internet marketing tools.
• Utilize the property management software and CRM to track availability, record traffic, manage prospect data, and analyze performance metrics.
• Maintain show units to Greystar standards, coordinating with maintenance for upkeep and merchandising.
• Follow up with prospects and new residents within 24 hours, handling communications and documentation throughout the leasing cycle.
• Prepare and manage lease renewal packages, contacting residents ahead of move‑out dates and following the Active Adult renewal playbook.
• Respond promptly to resident and owner inquiries, resolving issues and documenting requests for appropriate teams.
• Support community events and outreach efforts, collaborating with the Lifestyle Coordinator and local organizations.

Required profile

• High school diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, hospitality, or related field preferred.
• 1–3 years of relevant sales, marketing, or customer‑service experience in residential leasing.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to read and explain legal documents and lease terms.
• Basic mathematical ability for processing sales conversions and financial reports.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM and property management software for lead tracking and data analysis.
• Experience planning and executing marketing events and resident outreach programs.
