Maintenance Supervisor – North Seattle

About the role

Greystar is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead a team in North Seattle. The role ensures that buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas meet Greystar’s high standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise up to five maintenance employees and manage resident work orders promptly.
• Oversee vendor relationships, warranty follow‑ups, and the “make‑ready” process for vacant units.
• Develop and enforce standards for property appearance, including grounds, signage, and common areas.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts, assist with budgeting for repairs and capital projects, and conduct monthly preventative maintenance.
• Conduct safety meetings, ensure MSDS compliance, and stay current with OSHA regulations.

Required profile

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Extensive maintenance management experience in multifamily housing.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively with residents and team members.

Required skills

• Hot water heater repair and maintenance.
• Carpentry and basic building trades.
• Safe use of hand tools, power tools, and mechanical equipment.
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite.
• Experience with property management software (Yardi or OneSite).
