Business Development Representative – Commercial Real Estate

About the role

A well‑established commercial real estate firm in New York City is looking for a proactive Business Development Representative to support leasing and tenant acquisition. The role focuses on engaging decision‑makers, sparking conversations, and generating interest in office space opportunities across the market.

Key responsibilities

• Make 75‑100 outbound calls daily to business owners, executives, office managers and other decision‑makers.
• Introduce commercial office leasing opportunities and convey the unique value proposition of available spaces.
• Use company‑provided prospect lists, market intelligence, property information and call scripts.
• Identify qualified tenant opportunities and hand them off to the brokerage team.
• Maintain accurate activity records in the CRM system and consistently meet daily activity goals.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience in business development, cold calling, lead generation or inside sales.
• Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong phone presence with the ability to build rapport quickly and navigate gatekeepers.
• Self‑motivated with solid time‑management and organizational abilities.
• Professional‑level English, both spoken and written, and comfort working in a metrics‑driven environment.

Required skills

• Experience with CRM platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot or Zoho.
