Sr. Maintenance Technician - Aliso

About the role

The Sr. Maintenance Technician ensures that the physical aspects of the property, including buildings, grounds, amenities and common areas, meet Greystar’s standards for safety, appearance and functionality. This full‑time, onsite position requires weekend availability and on‑call support.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident requests and perform preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues and repairing according to policies, safety standards and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, supply procurement and final quality checks.
• Maintain inventory of tools, supplies and equipment, tracking usage and notifying supervisors of re‑order needs.
• Document service requests accurately and promptly for proper tracking.
• Assist with grounds and common‑area upkeep, such as trash removal, pressure‑washing, general cleaning and painting of curbs and signage.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts whenever possible.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of maintenance experience, preferably with HVAC, electrical systems and vendor management.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions and perform physical tasks including lifting up to 25 lb independently (50 lb with assistance).
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays and respond to on‑call situations.
• Valid driver’s license for operating a golf cart when required.
