Maintenance Supervisor – Chroma & Hue

About the role

The Maintenance Supervisor ensures that all building systems, grounds, amenities and common areas meet Greystar’s high standards for cleanliness, safety and functionality. This onsite position in St. Louis, MO, oversees routine upkeep, make‑ready preparations and vendor coordination.

Key responsibilities

• Complete resident work orders, diagnose issues and perform repairs in line with safety codes and company policies.
• Manage the make‑ready process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor scheduling and final quality checks.
• Develop and enforce standards for the appearance of grounds, building exteriors, signage, parking areas and common spaces.
• Inspect work performed by team members, contractors and vendors to ensure compliance with quality and scope.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts, order supplies within budget, and execute monthly preventative maintenance tasks.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED with experience in property‑management or building maintenance.
• Ability to read, write and communicate effectively with residents, team members and external contacts.
• Proficiency with internet, word processing, spreadsheets and database programs; property‑management system experience preferred.

Required skills

• EPA Type I, Type II or Universal certification for HVAC work.
• Knowledge of hand tools, power tools, mechanical equipment and measuring devices.
• Experience with HVAC systems, refrigerant handling and pressure testing.
• Familiarity with property‑management software and Microsoft Office suite.
