Machinist

About the role

The Machinist position at Concurrent Technologies Corporation supports the design, fabrication, maintenance and improvement of systems, equipment and facilities within the CTC Engineering and Manufacturing Division. The role blends hands‑on technical work with collaboration across engineering teams to deliver high‑quality components for both prototype and production projects.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and maintain CNC machines and other specialized tooling to produce components from technical drawings and blueprints.
• Fabricate, assemble and test prototype and production parts while ensuring compliance with quality and DoD standards.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical and structural systems, documenting activities and recommending improvements.
• Mentor junior technicians, share best practices and contribute to safety and continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent with technical coursework or certifications.
• At least 2 years of manufacturing or machining experience, including CNC setup, operation and troubleshooting.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints and specifications.
• Strong understanding of safety protocols, quality standards and DoD contractor requirements.
