Machine Learning Infra Engineer

About the role

Reducto is building a high‑performance ML infrastructure to power its document platform. As a Machine Learning Infra Engineer you will design and operate training and inference systems that scale across large GPU clusters.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain training and inference stacks with fast iteration and high‑performance inference.
• Develop benchmarks, identify bottlenecks, and apply state‑of‑the‑art advances.
• Design systems for multi‑node, multi‑GPU training with strong reliability and observability.
• Scale distributed workloads while improving utilization, reliability, and cost efficiency.
• Create tooling, abstractions, and observability to accelerate ML engineers from experiment to production.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in systems or ML engineering.
• High bar for quality, precision, and first‑principles problem solving.
• Comfortable working in fast‑changing, high‑growth environments.
• Ability to collaborate across technical and non‑technical teams and take ownership from strategy to execution.

Required skills

• Strong Python programming.
• Experience with Kubernetes and distributed training frameworks.
• Background in systems engineering for multi‑GPU, multi‑node environments.
