LPN - OAGH Med Surg - Part Time Day

About the role

This part‑time day position provides direct patient care on the OAGH Med‑Surg unit. Under the direction of a registered nurse, you will deliver nursing services, including IV therapy, to assigned patients while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Key responsibilities

• Perform nursing assessments, planning, and evaluation using the nursing process.
• Administer IV therapy and other treatments as authorized.
• Coordinate care with ancillary nursing staff and other healthcare professionals.
• Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff.
• Adapt to rapid changes in unit needs and uphold compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

Required profile

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• High school diploma or equivalent; no prior experience required.
• Strong time‑management, judgment, and interpersonal skills.

Required skills

• IV therapy competency (preferred).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
