Legal Editor – AI-Assisted Content Review

About the role

We are looking for a Legal Editor to join our AI‑driven publishing team. In this remote position you will ensure that legal opinions and case‑law content generated by AI tools meet the highest standards of accuracy and precedent analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze legal documents to identify key issues and assess precedential relationships between cases and statutes.
• Apply approved history and treatment letters in line with Legal Editing Guidelines.
• Review and validate content against source material, correcting gaps or misinterpretations.
• Maintain accuracy, completeness and consistency of editorial work while meeting production targets.
• Verify history chains and treatment relationships using designated tools and workflows.
• Resolve complex editorial and legal analysis questions and suggest workflow improvements.
• Perform additional editorial or administrative tasks as assigned.

Required profile

• JD, LLB or LLM degree.
• Strong legal research, analytical and writing abilities.
• Proven capability to interpret and apply legal precedent and editorial guidelines.
• Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment and escalate when needed.
• Excellent reading comprehension and issue‑spotting skills.
• Experience working in a remote or distributed team environment.
