Cyber Claims Specialist – Cyber Insurance

About the role

Converge Insurance is seeking a motivated claims professional to join its growing cyber claims team. This fully remote position offers structured onboarding, mentorship, and a path from supervised to independent handling of primary cyber claims.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of primary first‑party cyber claims from first notice to resolution.
• Analyze coverage issues, draft coverage letters and other correspondence.
• Coordinate with external counsel, forensic and incident‑response vendors.
• Collaborate with underwriting, product, actuarial, finance and risk‑management teams.
• Contribute to claims portfolio analysis and trend identification.
• Represent Converge at industry conferences and client events as experience grows.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation and responsiveness.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to obtain required adjuster licenses (support provided).
• Self‑starter who thrives in a fast‑paced, remote environment.
• Bachelor’s degree (legal background or technical familiarity a plus).
• 1‑5 years of related experience, preferably in claims or insurance.
